fargo moorhead opera

Founded in 1968, Fargo Moorhead Opera is based in Fargo, ND and serves the region within a 250-mile radius of our community in North Dakota and Minnesota. Annually, our season includes two mainstage operas from the standard repertoire and several smaller works in multiple venues.

Fargo Moorhead Opera is committed to serving the rural areas surrounding Fargo and Moorhead through tours of works to small towns. Our Gate City Bank Young Artists also present performances during residencies in small communities in our service area along with two weeks of touring in the Twin Cities metro area sponsored by the Twin Cities Opera Guild.
